AUDIO DESCRIBED PERFORMANCES
Information for Audio Described Performances in 2021 will be available soon.
Specially designed for people who are blind or have low vision, these performances feature descriptions of visual elements in the production made available in a variety of formats including pre-show notes and live description of the action. In addition, a tactile tour of the stage or a preshow foyer briefing with key props and costumes will be available one hour prior to each described performance.
Information for Relaxed Performances in 2021 will be available soon.
Relaxed Performances are for anyone who would benefit from a more relaxed environment—this can include but is not limited to people with autism, sensory sensitivities, learning disabilities, dementia as well as those living with anxiety or who have experienced trauma. Our Relaxed Performances focus on adapting the theatre environment and preparing the audience by developing pre-show resources. Lighting and sound may be adjusted, and the doors will remain open to allow patrons to take a break in a designated quiet area.
