Technical Manager Baird McKenna and Production Manager Blair Hart have made impossible stage feats possible at Malthouse. With their combined 32 years of experience creating work in the building, Blair and Baird will share the positives and the pressure points of Malthouse spaces and impart knowledge from their time working with designers and technicians.
During this session, Blair and Baird will cover what you should consider when approaching a space, the practical and technical factors that come with designing, and tips and tricks for your process from concept to opening night.
This workshop is suitable for current students, recent graduates, practicing artists and technicians, as well as the theatre curious.
