From knife fights to fatherhood, Logie-winner Rob Carlton turns life’s disasters into hilarious, heartfelt stories of courage, chaos and charm.

Logie-winning actor Rob Carlton (The White Lotus) returns with a new dramatic comedy: Virgin in a Knife Fight.

“My show is about the different surprises we get at different times of life. When we’re young it’s the world coming at us that can freak us out. I was 18 years old hitchhiking around Europe when a man came at me with a knife! A few years later it was me that surprised me – with my own bad behaviour. A few years after that a mate went to court and pulled off a heist we still can’t believe. And when I was 50 the shock came from loved ones, the fear came from within and it reminded me how strange and wiggly and wonderful life can be.

Virgin in a Knife Fight is four true stories with four different moments of reckoning. It’s packed with laughs but gets into the messy stuff that surprises us, making life rich. Once again, it’s just me and a black chair.”

You’ve seen Rob Carlton on The White Lotus, Black Snow, North Shore, Boy Swallows Universe, A Moody Christmas, Blue Heelers, All Saints, Water Rats and Home and Away. This show has nothing to do with any of them.
