XO-DOS

An incredible and highly engaging evening of cutting-edge contemporary dance performed by the artists of the Victorian State Ballet.

A new work in the VBS repertoire created by Martin Sierra. When life forces a change, there is movement between life and death. Dying to the old ways and arriving to a new day brings always pain, joy and hope. It is not an easy task being dragged by destiny, but it is in that dragging where adventure begins and new beauty is discovered. It is not the destination but the journey that we learn to endure and to some extent, enjoy.

'X0-DOS', using physical theatre and contemporary dance, explores the aspects of change caused by circumstances out of our control. A simple pipe burst can release a full waterfall of emotions capable of moving the essence of our lives. Some trails are happy ones, others are blue. It's the way you ride the trail that counts.
