23 – 31 OCT 2019
A supermarket runs out of bananas. A senior citizen stages a radical protest. A group of friends stumble across a whale trying to beach itself. A flower sees plastic for the first time.
A kaleidoscope of absurd and poignant vignettes, ATOMIC explores the power of humans to change the world – knowingly and unknowingly, for better or worse.
Alice Qin, Bernard Sam and Clarisse Bonello are directed by Sapidah Kian, Malthouse Theatre's Director in Residence 2017/18, in this new piece of Australian writing playing for one night only.
