SURPRISE CHEF

After Melbourne's coldest, darkest and quietest winter to date, the light at the end of the tunnel finally switched on. The volume was turned up, and Surprise Chef was playing.

The prolific jazz-funk instrumentalists boosted the record collections of music lovers in 2020, first with their debut LP All News Is Good News—which sold out worldwide in a week of its first pressing—and then with Daylight Savings, which cemented their reputation as '70s soul magicians with a DIY spirit that's all their own.

Join them for the launch of the atmospheric and impossibly groovy Daylight Savings, a record that, fittingly, will be welcomed into the world on a balmy summer evening. No need to wind your clocks back.
