A work like RECKŌNING is rare. It’s full of heart and respect and musicality and guts and that’s why it’s so impactful.
Simon Abrahams, CEO & Creative Director, Melbourne Fringe
RECKŌNING is a powerful, innovative and compelling work that takes the audience on a deeply engaging journey and showcases the amazing talents both of its creators, Samuel Gaskin and Johnny Hamilton, and of their incredible team of performers and creatives.
John Foreman OAM
The real joy however of RECKŌNING is its original music, blend of different art forms and authentic storytelling.
Broadway World
My praise for this performance exceeds the words that I can truly use to do it justice. It is raw and emotional and so powerful in many ways.

ABOUT MOS

Malthouse Outdoor Stage is a general admission venue with standing areas and seating available at shared tables. We recommend arriving early to find a space that’s right for you. The Malthouse Bar is open before and during the show, and food is available from The Malthouse Cafe.

We perform in all weather conditions, so long as it's safe for the performers and for you. Melbourne's weather can change all the time—we recommend bringing a raincoat, wearing waterproof shoes, and bringing a small umbrella just in case. In the event that the performance is cancelled, we will contact you to inform you the next steps. Please note the seating area is not covered.
