Almost 20 years after they first emerged, fully formed and brimming with brilliance, HTRK continue to push, provoke and invite audiences into their dense, sprawling world.

Dabbling, at different times, in dub meditations, sparse ambient sounds and more vocal heavy ventures, vocalist Jonnine Standish and guitarist Nigel Yang make music that is always unpredictable and gloriously incisive. They cater to the industrial aestheticians and neo-pop purveyors in equal measure, but at the core of their sound are universal ideas everyone can grab onto: love, loss, desire, intimacy and fear.

In their time, they've toured, made music in and taken inspiration from all corners of the world, but recent years have brought them back to Melbourne. An invitation to step into the world of HTRK is one local audiences have jumped at for years, and this one will be no different.
