In early 2005 Ruth put together a tribute show in honour of Nina Simone's birthday and performed it to a packed house
at the famous Dizzy's Jazz Club with the Mark Fitzgibbon trio. Thus FABULOUS DIVA - A TRIBUTE TO NINA SIMONE was born.
The show features specially written prose - telling in anecdotes, quotes, biographical history and gossip the story of Nina Simone and channels her incomparable energy and style.
Featuring special guests handpicked from the best of the jazz scene, watch out when Ruth Rogers-Wright and Mark Fitzgibbon alchemize the spirit of Dr Nina Simone in a compelling and delicious tribute.

Take the L out of Lover is less roller coaster ride than kitchen sink kabarett as Aurora regales with stories and songs
of love lost and found, sex good and bogan.
Aurora will take you through contemporary classics in unrequited arrangements of desire and pain. She may even try some German Rap - it is Cabaret after all!
