The Merlyn is the larger of the three theatres in The CUB Malthouse and is
named after Dame Merlyn Myer DBE to mark the generosity of the Sidney
Myer Fund, The Myer Fund and the individual members of the Myer family
who supported The CUB Malthouse conversion. The versatile medium sized venue offers unique design and makes it ideally suited for drama, dance,
music and opera - both contemporary and classical - as well as an exciting
and different venue for conferences, product launches and private functions.

The Merlyn can seat between 300 and 520 patrons on three levels.
Although it has a flexible seating configuration, seating is by reserved and
general admission.
