The Malthouse box office is located in the foyer of The Malthouse at 113 Sturt Street, Southbank VIC 3006. The box office sells tickets for both Malthouse Theatre productions and on behalf of companies who hire theatres and other venues at The Malthouse.

Purchasing Tickets to Malthouse Theatre Productions
Subscription Packages
Become a Malthouse Theatre Subscriber by purchasing tickets to five or more shows within our 2012 Season. Subscribers receive exclusive booking periods, ticket discounts, advance notice of special events and year round benefits like discounts at the bar, café and Bookstore. Single Tickets
If you would like to purchase tickets to one Malthouse Theatre production in 2012 single tickets go on sale on Tuesday the 3rd of January 2012.
Previews and Matinees
Malthouse Theatre offers preview and matinee performances at a discounted rate. For dates and times of preview and matinee performances please refer to our calendar.
Concessions
Malthouse Theatre offers a range of concession prices. The following are eligible for a discounted ticket:
- Australian Pensioners
- Senior Cardholders
- Health Care Cardholders
- Full time students
- Media, Entertainment and Arts Alliance Members
- Companion Card holders
- Anyone Under the age of 30
The relevant ID must be presented.
Accessibility

Groups
If you purchase 8 or more tickets to one Malthouse Theatre production for the same date and time we offer a group price discount. We recommend purchasing group tickets over the phone or at the counter rather than online.
Under 30s
Anyone under 30 has the opportunity to purchase tickets to Malthouse Theatre productions at a special discounted rate. To qualify for the concession, you simply need to present box office staff with relevant ID which shows your date of birth (eg a driver’s licence).
Rush Tickets
Full time students & MEAA members are also elligible for RUSH which is only available 30mins prior to the performance start time. RUSH tickets are $19 per person.
