MALTHOUSE BAR

“In vino veritas”, in wine truth, at the Malthouse Bar we offer the chance to find the truth of the theatre experience, the show does not end when the lights come up, stay and have a drink with us. Just as actors need to remove the make up, we all need to talk, interact and find the reactions to what we’ve seen.

With a selection of products from Australia and New Zealand’s most famous wineries, International Breweries and renowned spirit producers, there is no taste that cannot be catered to.

DRINKS, FOOD AND THEATRE
The Malthouse Bar allows, nay encourages, the opportunity to bring your drinks into theTower Theatre. Simply ask our friendly bar staff to organise your own plastic glass prior to entry. We are currently working on negotiating our license to extend the policy to the Merlyn Theatre and Beckett Theatre.

The CUB Malthouse offers a relaxed atmosphere to have a pre-performance meal or drink, and the Bar is always open for you to stay and play with us after the show. Don’t forget, you may still like to beat the interval and pre-order your drinks at the bar.

When there are no performances in the venue the Malthouse Bar will still open to the public every Friday from 5pm.
