Thea Snow, Member

Thea SnowThea Snow graduated from Monash University in 2007, having completed both a bachelor of law and a bachelor of arts degree. Thea's major in arts was politics, with a focus on legal philosophy. In law, Thea graduated with first class honours and received the Corrs Chambers Westgarth Prize for Intellectual Property and the Monash Law School Prize in Human Rights Law. She was also a finalist in the Chief Justice of Victoria's Law Foundation Medal for Excellence.

Thea worked as a solicitor at Mallesons Stephen Jaques for two years in the dispute resolution group. Thea was an active member of the Mallesons Human Rights Law Group and also developed a strong pro-bono legal practice, largely through her work as a volunteer for the African Legal Service. Thea now works as a policy advisor in the Social Policy Branch of Department of Premier and Cabinet.

Thea is a board member and secretary of Jewish Aid Australia - a non-sectarian humanitarian organisation. She also has a keen interest in travel, the arts and literature.
