About
Arts Immersion
Malthouse Theatre, in collaboration with Melbourneâs premiere contemporary
dance company, Chunky Move, and the Australian Centre for Contemporary
Art (ACCA), Malthouse Theatre is pleased to offer this unique cross-arts
program to government secondary / regional schools in 2008.
Using the most current work at ACCA as a starting point, students
will explore a central theme through visual arts, dance and performance
making in three separate workshops across the three organisations.
Working with practicing artists, students see how arts both differ
and integrate.

What other teachers and students have thought
about Arts Immersion
"It was more than what I expected. I really liked the dancing
and the TV Art.
This workshop is a credit to you all."
Student, Boort Secondary College
"I think the students are not necessarily able to articulate
what they take from an experience such as this, but I believe it is
an investment in broadening their frame of reference."
