MALTHOUSE EDUCATION GOES GREEN
WHERE WILL YOU BE IN 10 YEARS?
The Education Program is an integral part of the Malthouse Theatres
Greenlight Project.
In 2008, we seek engagement from all Victorian teachers and students
in finding ways to create ecologically sustainable theatre, and
by creating administrative processes that reduce, reuse and recycle.
The beginning of the Education Programs commitment to going
green is now reflected in the way we will be administering bookings
and payments.
Our new Education Brochure is printed on recycled paper and uses
soya-based inks. From Term One, 2008, the Malthouse Theatre website
will be the main source of program information, school bookings,
resources, teacher preview dates as well as regular updates. In
particular we encourage all teachers to:
Use the on-line booking forms for the Education Program
Use the on-line booking forms for Malthouse Shows
Order resources/education notes on-line
Purchase PDF versions or CD versions of current education
resources
Pay accounts using direct EFTPOS transfer, eliminating the
need to print and mail cheques
As well, on each education ticket sold a 50c fee will go to offset
the carbon emissions generated by the performance you see.
