Malthouse Theatre is a company dedicated to making contemporary
Australian theatre that enlivens the senses, stimulates the mind,
and provokes discussion and debate about this world in which we
live.
We aim to develop and present the most exciting theatre on a national
and international stage, including bold new works, daring reinterpretations
of classic texts and inspired remounts of those pieces that have
defined us.
I thank those of you who have helped us reach this exciting moment
in the company’s history and invite one and all to join us
in exploring what theatre can be as we embark upon a journey to
the unknown, the unpredictable and the inspirational world of the
imagination.

and development, workshops, touring, new projects, professional
development for artists, programming and general operations.

All donations over $500 are acknowledged in the foyer of our home,
The CUB Malthouse. Donations of $2 or more are fully tax-deductible.
Your gift ensures Malthouse Theatre can continue its growth and
maintain its commitment to quality theatre experiences for its audiences
and artists. As a not-for-profit organisation, philanthropic support
is vital to our programming, position and role and we value your
